And what the hell were they talking about anyway?

Cereal Addict

Yes, I know, these two words are already in existence but it is together that they hold the most power. You may already be a cereal addict or maybe that time has not yet come for you however it is inevitable-You will become a cereal addict. I guarantee you, this time as a cereal addict will be the most wonderful, fibre filled period in your life.

I say that we start a club! Yes, that sounds great (or should i say Grrrrrrrrrrrreat!), lets all go celebrate with a nice bowl of cereal.

3 signs that you may be a cereal addict
1. You are eating cereal right now
2. You know all of the slogans of the major brands of cereal (example: Fruit Loops-Follow Your Nose!)
3. You consider cereal to be an appropriate meal at all times of the day, not just breakfast

Hey guys! Feel free to post some of your fav cereal recipes in the comments page. I myself am partial to the Brown sugar mini-wheates mixed with bananas (cut into slices and then in half)starting out with 2% milk and then adding 1% milk as you go on, try it, it's good.

Is there such a thing as a partial cereal addict? I mean one of those complusive spontanieous days where cereal is all you eat but its not a usual meal-plan. I'm glad you thought of asking the three of us to send our recepies to one another for one another to read.
    Here's mine:
-Pour a bowl of your favourite cereal or a combination of several (i.e. corn flakes and mini wheats)
    - Add milk (2%, 1%, skim or even whole!) and serve.

    Taa Dah!

    Heather

You STOLE THAT from me! But it's not my best anyway so keep it! Prepare to be amazed!
Cut orange slices, watermelon, and a banana to bite size pieces and mix evenly with a bowl of cherios (preferably multi-grain). Top with a bit of strawberry yogurt and eat. Oh man I'm drooling.
But I must say that the best mix really is a brown sugar mini wheat/multigrain cherios with banana. I can't believe we're out of milk I could just die.

ok, so there is no milk in your cereal recipe susanne? just yogurt? that sounds like it would make a nice paste.

I said a BIT of yogurt. A BIT. Fruit is really the key. Multigrain cherios add this whole new taste and crunch and ohhh yaaaa... the yogurt is just a little kick. About a table spoon. Bonus if it has chunks of strawberry actually in it, but not enought to make a paste.

i didn't freaking steal anything from you- it was a joke- you should have either a) taken it as a complement or b) slap the side of your leg while sighing "Oh, that Heather!"

I'll slap the side of YOU! The front side! ...By which I mean the face side. You know. On the face. Whatever.

And the really good thing about taking a spoonful of the strawberry yogurt is that if you only take the bottom half, you can use the unstirred top half for a nice moisturizing facial! Tah daaahhh!!
